Beach Day!

Today we left our hotel at 8:30 in the morning to head to Marina di Grosseto for our Beach day.  This beach on the Tyrrhenian Sea is in the Maremma of Tuscany.  This area was given the designation of Bandiera Blu (Blue Flag) for its clear waters, great water quality, high safety standards and commitment to protecting local shorelines and ecosystems.  The students had an amazing day at the beach: they went into the water, played beach volleyball, sunbathed, had lunch and enjoyed the windy, hot day.
